Public Finance is about governmental provision of goods and services. This course considers why the government produces, what it produces, how efficient public provision is compared to private provision, and how these goods and services are paid for. It explores the interaction of consumers, voters, bureaucrats, and politicians. Government revenue topics include pricing and user fees, taxation, borrowing, and debt. The course is available only to international students at the Technical University - Varna. It is taught as a separate discipline "Public finance" and as a fisrt part of the discipline "Finance".
